Welcome to my personal Astrophotography website.

My name is Eric Lo. I started Astronomy as well as Astrophotography since late January 2006. I picked up this fascinating and inspiration hobby from my first purchase of an 8" Optex F/4 newtonian telescope.

I do all my observations and photo work from my suburban light polluted backyard situated in the South Eastern region of Melbourne Australia, which is about 30 minutes drive from the city.

My first astro camera was a Meade DSI-C. Since then, other camera's that I use include the Meade DSI II as well as the Canon EOS 350D and the Canon 300D modded with the stock IR filter taken out. Later I might invest in a CCD such as SBIG, FLI or the Starlight Express.
